Talacauvery

Talacauvery is an important pilgrimage centre in the Brahmagiri Hill that marks the birthplace of the sacred Kaveri River. Every year on October 17th (Tula Sankramana), devotees flock to this site in large numbers to witness the sudden rise of the water in the otherwise small perennial spring.
